  • 1 ½ teaspoon of cumin
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • ¾ - 1 teaspoon of coriander powder.
  • Red chilli powder to taste
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 4 tablespoons of curds (dahi)
  • 1 ½ cup frozen peas
  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 10 curry leaves (optional),

Directions

Put the oil in a Microwave safe dish and Microwave at 100% power (or MW 70% + 200 Degree) for 2 minutes.

Drop in the cumin, turmeric, coriander, chilli .Continue to cook at the same power level for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, puree the tomatoes and curds together.

Add to the dish with potatoes, and peas, and curry leaves, if you’re using them. Stir, cover and cook 8 minutes, stirring twice.

Leave to stand 3-4 minutes before salting and serving.
