Directions
In a medium bowl, with a fork, mash avocado (similar to the way the Padres homerun hitters mash the Braves pitching staff).
Stir in green onion and dill.
Cover and chill briefly.
Use this tasty and colorful avocado shmear in place of mayonnaise on your favorite sandwich.
For each sandwich, spread about 2 tablespoons on slices of rye or whole wheat bread and add your choice of fillings such as sliced turkey, tomato and lettuce, or serve as a spread on crackers, bagel crisps or small party breads while you cheer on your Padres!
