finely chop the oinion & the pepper(capsicum) crush the garlic beat the egg & leave aside now boil the potato & the onion+pepper(capsicum)+garlic whene the potato is cooked mash them with the salt/pepper/chilli & the butter & the beaten egg & oxo (optional)till they are all well mixed. then grate about two slice of bread till they are crumbs. let the mixture cool then add the bread crumbs to the mixture and mix well the whole mixture should now be quite firm.now just shap them into circles about half to 1 inch thick heat your oil and fry till they are golden brown.serve. i have never tried grilling them?its possible
