  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 10-3/4-ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned pepper
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups cooked chicken cubes
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

Cook celery in butter in large skillet or saucepan until tender but not brown. Add soup, sour cream, wine, chives, salt and pepper; heat. Stir in rice and chicken. Turn into greased shallow 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
