Ingredients
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 11/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. diced green pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 2 med. onions, chopped
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 4 Tbs. butter, divided
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 c. canned tomatoes
- 1 lb. cooked cubed ham
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 2 lb. cleaned shrimp
Directions
Cook celery, pepper, and onions in half the butter until tender, not brown.
Add garlic and ham, cook 5 minutes longer.
Add remaining butter, shrimp, salt, Tabasco, Worcestershire, and sugar.
Cook, stirring often with fork until shrimp are pink.
Add tomatoes, simmer uncovered about 15 minutes. Stir in rice, serve.
