  • 1 gallon water
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 2 oz. or less pickling spice
  • 2/3 cups canning salt
  • 1 to 4 cloves garlic
  • Dill weed to taste
  • 1. Wash cukes
  • 2. Layer dill
  • 3. Layer cukes in crock or large glass jar.
  • 4. Mix all ingredients together until salt is dissolved.
  • 5. Pour over cukes, making sure to keep cukes under liquid.
  • 6. Let stand for 2 to 3 days at room temperature.
