Ingredients

  • 1 pint large fresh oysters
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 1/2 teaspoon slat
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

1. Drain oysters. Lay an oyster across 1/2 slice of bacon. Sprinkle each oyster with seasonings and parsley.

2. Roll entire strip of bacon around oyster and fasten with toothpicks.

3. Place oyster on a rack in a shallow baking dish. Bake in 450° oven for 10 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

Remove toothpicks and serve
