Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon lard,
  • 1 tablespoon flour,
  • 1 cup beef broth or water,
  • 1 onion,
  • 1/2 cup sugar,
  • 1 tablespoon chopped tarragon,
  • 1/2 cup sour cream,
  • salt

Directions

Fry the onion in lard until yellowish.

Add the flour, fry a little more, then pour the broth, add the salt, sugar, tarragon and let boil until the sauce is medium thick. Serve warm.
