Ingredients
- 1/4 pound butter
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1-teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2-cup burgundy wine
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1-teaspoon soy sauce
- 1-teaspoon monosodium glutamate (I left this off, since MSG is not good for you)
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 pounds porterhouse steak, 2” thick

Combine all ingredients except steak in a saucepan and simmer for 3 minutes.

Pour over steak and marinate for 1 to 2 hours, turning steak every 15 minutes.

Cook under broiler or over hickory chips and charcoal.
