Ingredients
- 10 apples
- 1 cup water
- Grated rind of 1 lemon
- 10 eggs (separated)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
Directions
1.Peel and core apples. Simmer in water with lemon rind until tender. Put through colander and cool.
2.Take egg whites, beat to a stiff froth, and fold into apples. Add sugar, and continue beating until stiff.
3.Serve in a glass dish with either custard sauce made with the egg yolks, or whipped cream.
