Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup of diet Sprite or calamansi juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of brown or white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of banana or tomato catsup
  • 1/2 cup oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 3 teaspoons of brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of chili powder

Directions

Mix all ingredients well and marinate meat for 2 to 4 hours at least. Overnight is preferred.

Prior to cooking meats, remove from marinade. Reduce marinade by boiling and use as glaze on the meat while cooking.
