Ingredients
- 1 lb. soft pitted dates
- 48 walnut halves
- 2 cubes butter
- 3 cups. packed brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups. sour cream
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 5 cups. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

Stuff each date with walnut half. Press to hold shape.

Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, sour cream and vanilla.

Stir in dry ingredients.

Add stuffed dates, use teaspoon to dip out battered covered date.

Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
