Ingredients
- 1 lb potatoes
- ¾ ounce chopped onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 ounces butter , chopped
- Puff pastry , rolled out ⅛ inch thick
Directions
Peel and slice your potatoes very thin.
Layer the potatoes in a pie dish , adding some onion, salt, and pepper between each layer.
Add a dash of water to the potatoes, and scatter the chopped butter over top.
Cover the filling with the rolled-out puff pastry.
Bake at 375°F until golden and cooked through (about 1½ hours).
