- 6 tbsp white mustard seeds ( Sinapis alba )
- 5 hard-boiled egg yolks
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 4 tbsp whole wheat flour
- ½ cup natural apple vinegar or wine vinegar
- 4 tbsp honey , treacle , or date syrup
- 1 tsp salt
Directions
Toast mustard seeds in a skillet without oil. Let cool.
Pound the seeds with a mortar and pestle .
Crush the boiled yolks, and add to ground mustard seeds.
Crush the garlic and add to the mixture.
Toast the flour in a skillet without oil and add to the mixture.
Mix in vinegar, salt, and honey.
