Directions

Mix together one pint of orange juice, the grated yellow rind of two oranges and the juice of two lemons. Let this mixture stand one hour, strain and freeze, or the sugar and water may be boiled together for twenty minutes,the strained fruit juice added to this, cool and freeze.

FA.NCY WAY OF SERVING THE SHERBET.

Cut a slice from the top of the orange of lemon, remove the inside with a spoon, and use for the sherbet. Into this shell put the frozen sherbet, and serve on a plate with a doily under it.
