- 14 lemon

To 1 ¢ mashed banana pulp add the juice of 14 lemon. Mix this with 1 qt. of any plain ice cream when partly frozen.

This fruit, as it is called, is used only as a vegetable, and when properly baked, it is somewhat similar to the sweet potato. It is stringy only when undercooked.
