Wild fowl may be stuffed M'ith any kind of stuffing, but the flavor is best preserved without stuffing; only rubbing it inside and out with butter, pepper and salt; baste with butter. Make a rich, brown gravy by adding a teaspoonf ul of flour to the drippings; color with caramel.
