Directions
Three-fourths of chopped beef to 54 chopped pork, l/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 little onion, salt and pepper, mix with 1 egg. Form into good sized dumplings, boil in salted water with y2 cup vinegar, 1 onion and 1 bay leaf for 15 minutes. Thicken
some of the water in which the dumplings were boiled, add a little beef extract and 1 teaspoonful of capers. Have 1 or 2 well beaten eggs on a platter, stir in the sauce and add the dumplings. Mrs. Gamer.
