- 2 tablespoons each mus- tard seed
- a cupful of stoned raisins

Directions
Pare and quarter 15 large and very sour apples and chop very fine, together with 2 green peppers (from which the seeds have been taken), a cupful of stoned raisins and 2 onions. Place in a glazed kettle, add a quart of vinegar and simmer 2 hours. Now put in 2 cups brown sugar and 2 tablespoons each mus- tard seed, ground ginger and salt. Cook slowly 1 hour longer.
