Directions

Parboil a sweetbread and cut in Yi inch cubes. Reheat with equal parts of cold cooked chicken and 2 cups white sauce.

EGGS WITH CHEESE. Two hard boiled eggs, y2 cup of grated cheese, 1 tablespoon of butter, ]/2 cup of milk, 1 teaspoonful of flour, a little salt and pepper. Make a white sauce of butter, flour, milk, salt and pepper; then add to the sauce the grated cheese and eggs chopped fine. Serve on toast. Strong Herkimer, County or Edam cheese is best. Harriet M. EGG NOGG. Beat the yolks of 5 eggs until very light and add 6 even tablespoonfuls sugar and beat thoroughly with the yolks. Add 5 tablespoonfuls brandy and 1 pint of cream that has just been whipped, and, last of all, the beaten whites of 5 eggs. Stir lightly, just enough to mix well. Ida S. Downs.
