Ingredients

  • one pound chloride of lime
  • three pails water
  • two waters

Directions

Mrs. C. H. Wheeler.

2

One pound chloride of lime, dissolved and strained; put in two or three pails water ; thoroughly wet the cloth and leave it in over night ; then rince well in two waters. This will also take out mildew, and is equally good for brown cotton or white that has become yellow from any cause, and will not injure the fabric.
