Directions
HUNGARIAN GOULASH— Three pounds veal cut in one-inch cubes, three large potatoes diced, three large onions sliced, salt and pepper to season, one-half teaspoon paprika, one cup cream and two tablespoons butter or drippings. Fry the onion in drippings until brown, add veal and fry until meat is nicely browned, then add one- half cup water, cover closely and cook slowly until nearly done, then add potatoes and seasoning, cook until meat and potatoes are tender and last add cream in which one teaspoon of flour has been thoroughly mixed, boil together a few minutes and serve at once.
