THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING— Make a mayonnaise dress- ing by adding one cup of olive oil gradually to the beaten yolk of one egg. When beaten stiff add one-half teaspoon of salt, one-fourth tea- spoon of paprika, celery salt, sugar to taste, two tablespoons of vine- gar or lemon juice, one-half teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. Add to the above one cup of chili sauce, one cup of whipped cream, two tablespoons of chopped olives, two tablespoons of minced pimento or stuffed olives, one-half green pepper minced and a pinch of dry mus- tard.
