Ingredients
- one cupful of maple syrup
- one pint of cream whipped stiff
- two eggs
Directions
MAPLE MOUSSE — Beat together the yolks of two eggs and one cupful of maple syrup. Heat the mixture, stirring it until it thickens, remove from fire and cool. Then fold in the stiffly beaten whites of the eggs and one pint of cream whipped stiff and dry. The ingredients should be well mixed so they may not separate. Pack in a mold in ice and salt and do not stir while it is freezing.
