Two thirds of a teacup of rice, soaked over night ; in the morning pour off the water, or milk, and put the rice in a deep dish, with two quarts of fresh milk, and a cup and a half of brown sugar. Bake in a slow oven two hours, till the rice is tender, and the milk like cream. Stir several times during the first hour. To be eaten cold. Grood for Sunday dinner.
