One pint of molasses, one teacupful of brown sugar, piece of butter the size of an egg, a little cinnamon, nutmeg and mace, six eggs, yolks and whites beaten separately, teacupful of sour milk, and teaspoonful of soda, two teacupfuls of Hour, put to- gether and beat hard. Stir whites of eggs in last. Bake an hour in a moderate oven.
