To one quart of sweet milk and one pint of boiling water, add the liquor from one quart of oysters. Boil this up together, then add the oysters and half a teacupful of cracker crumbs rolled fine. Add butter, salt and pepper to taste. Much boiling hard- ens the oysters. Serve with hot toast and crackers.
