One half bushel of skinned tomatoes, one quart of cider vinegar, one pound of salt, one quarter pound of black pepper, one ounce of cayenne, one of cloves, one quarter of a pouud of allspice, three boxes of mustard, twenty cloves of garlic, six good onions, two pounds of sugar, one handful of peach leaves ; boil for three hours, constantly stirring, to prevent burning; when cold, strain through a sieve, and bottle for use.
