1 pint of boiling water ; 1 pint of cornmeal ; 1 large tablespoonful of 1 pint of sweet milk; butter; 2 eggs;

Pour the boiling water over the cornmeal and add the salt; then butter. To the milk add the beaten yolks, and turn into the cornmeal mixture. Beat the whites and fold in last. Pour into a but- tered pan and bake thirty minutes. Serve with a spoon from the pan.
