Boil three-quarters of a pound of granulated sugar in one quart of water for ten minutes; strain and add the juice of six oranges and one lemon to the cooled syrup. Soak one tablespoonful of Cooper's gelatine in a tiny bit of cold water, and add one tablespoonful of boiling water to dissolve it. Strain it into the mixture and freeze.
