- 2 cup sweet milk
- 2 cups pecan meats chopped fine

Directions
One-half cup butter; i cup sugar; l/2 cup sweet milk; 2 large or three small eggs ; 2 level teaspoons baking powder ; 2 cups pecan meats chopped fine; 2 teacups sifted flour; i teaspoon vanilla or lemon extract. Stir butter and sugar and cream, add extract and yolks of eggs, beat again, add milk and flour alternately; in last half cup flour add baking powder. Beat whites stiff and stir light- ly. Lastly add pecan meats and bake in slow oven for an hour. Sprinkle little flour over nuts to keep from sticking.
