Directions
Whites of ten eggs, beaten stiff. Sift three-quarters pound of granulated sugar three times and add to the eggs gradually. To the whites and sugar, add the beaten yolks of five eggs, the grated rind of one-half an orange and three teaspoonsful of the juice. Put one teaspoonful of cream tartar in six ounces of flour and sift three times ; add this to the eggs. Bake without greasing the pan.
