Directions
Two cups chopped cold meat, one cup rolled cracker, season with salt and pepper, moisten with milk or beef grav}^, shape into balls, roll in cracker crumbs, then in eggs, again in crumbs. Bake in hot oven fifteen minutes, or until brown.

Four eggs, whites and yolks beaten separatel}-, three tablespoons milk to each ^gg, one tablespoon of flour, salt, add beaten whites last. Put in spider butter half size of an ^gg^ cover and cook slowly.
