One cup of sour milk, one cup of cornmeal, one cup of Graham Hour, half a cup of molasses, half a teaspoon- ful of salt, half teaspoon of soda; pour the batter into a covered mold and set in a large vessel of boiling- water ; place a weight upon the mold to keep it steady, do not allow the water to stop boiling, and in replen- ishing, take care that the water does not reach the top of the mold ; boil three or four liours, then turn the bread out of the mold, and dry it in the oven for ten minutes. — Josephine Harrison.
