Ingredients
- one pint of water
- two tablespoons of syrup to a glass of water
- a pound of sugar to a pint

Press the juice of lemons into a bowl, strain out all seeds, remove the pulp from the rind and boil in one pint of water for a few minutes. Strain the water with the juice, add a pound of sugar to a pint , of juice, boil ten minutes and bottle. Use one or two tablespoons of syrup to a glass of water.

APPLE TEA. Take good sour apples, slice thin, pour on boiling water and let stand until cool ; pour off water, sweeten a little, and flavor.
