  • 8 ounces raw rice
  • 2 ounces sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 good sized cocoanuts
  • 1 cocoanut
  • 1 saltspoon salt
  • 1 fresh egg until very hot

Take the milk from 2 good sized cocoanuts and place in a saucepan with 1 pint cold milk, and the shredded white part of 1 cocoanut, 8 ounces raw rice, 2 ounces sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla essence and 1 saltspoon salt. Cook slowly for 40 minutes stirring from the bottom to prevent scorching. Stir in 1 fresh egg until very hot. Take off, stir in well 1 cup whipped cream and serve.
