i cup sugar, 1 cup milk, 3'; cups flour, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon salt, i cup chopped pecans, 2 heaping teaspoons baking powder. Bake in slow oven.

Mix well together in a rather firm batter, and bake in a deep paper lined pan in a steady oven 3.5 minutes.
