Make a pancake mixture consisting of 1 egg (beaten), ij4 cups milk, salt, and 3 tablespoons flour. Pour this mixture into skillet of smoking hot lard and fry for a feAV minutes. When brown, fold in any cold, left-over spinach, with or without to- mato sauce. Remove the pancake and spinach to a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes after adding 1 cup of milk.
