Heat together butter and sugar, cream; add rest of in- gredients, and drop on buttered tins.

Mix together, using flour enough to make into a stiff dough. Do not roll on board, but break off pieces of dough size of walnut and make into rings by rolling in hands. Lay an inch apart to bake in moderate oven.
