Directions
y-2 box or 2 tablespoons granulated gelatine, i/o cup cold water, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 pieces of bay leaf, 6 peppercorns, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 slice onion, 6 cloves and 1 can tomatoes ; soak the gelatine in the cold water until soft; cook the tomatoes and seasoning (except salt) for twenty minutes, strain and add salt; pour the hot liquid over the softened gelatine ; stir until it is dissolved ; then pour into custard cups which have been wet with cold water; serve very cold on let- tuce leaves with Mayonnaise dressing.
