Make a dough, to be rolled out as for a pie, out of suet, flour, rind and juice of lemon, and eggs. Spread on this the jam. Sprinkle lavishly with nuts and cinnamon or almonds, and cover with a top crust. Sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar. Mark in squares of about two inches, and bake a del- icate brown. Place a mixture of nuts and pulverized sugar on top. Very good.
