Directions
1 pint milk ' 1 tablespoonful flour
1 head celery 1 tablespoonful butter
1 large sliced onion Boil celery in pint water 30 minutes, boil onion and milk together, mix flour with littlecold milk, and add to boiling milk, cook till thickened. Mash celery in water in ^vhich it was cooked and stir into boiling milk, add butter, salt and pepper. Strain and serve.
