One quart of oysters, one ditto sweet milk, one- fourth pound of butter. Set the milk on the stove, and let it come to a boil. After the oysters are cooked, add two tablespoonfuls of grated cracker ; pepper and salt to taste. It is better if you use cream instead of the milk. Mrs. L. H. Gushing.
