Two pounds of round steak, pound until tender ; cut in slices ; dredge with flour, pepper and salt, and roll in tight rolls ; lay in a stew pan with a few cloves, and a scrap of nutmeg ; cover with water, and stew three hours. Mrs. E. Patton.
