Ingredients
- one quart of water
- one teaspoonful salt
- two tablespoonfuls cornmeal
- half cupful of cold water
Directions

One quart of water, boiling, one teaspoonful salt, mix two tablespoonfuls cornmeal and one tablespoonful of flour with one- half cupful of cold water. Pour it into the boiling salted water, stirring briskly. Simmer, covered, an hour, strain and serve with milk or cream.
