One pint of boiling milk, one tablespoonful of flour, mixed smooth with one-half cupful of cold milk and one saltspoon- fulof salt, stir into the hot milk and cook in double boiler one- half hour. If allowed, a handful of raisins cut in quarters and a bit of nutmeg one-half as large as a pea, may be boiled in the milk. Strain before serving.
