Ingredients
- a quart of cream
- a spoonful of rose-water

Take a quart of cream and half an ounce of isinglass beaten fine ; put it into the eream^ let it simmer gently for a quarter of an hour, stirring all the time till the isinglass is dissolved. Take it off and sweeten to taste; add a spoonful of rose-water and the same of orange-flower water^ or some essence oi vaniDa; strain it and put it into your mould. Almonds may sometimes be used in place of vanilla.
