5 eggs J lb. castor sugar

i lb. butter 6 ozs. flour

Put eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat over saucepan of boiling water, about 20 minutes; sift in flour and butter melted; stir lightly with wooden spoon and pour into well-greased cake tin.
