Four eggs, the weight of one in flour and the same in sifted sugar. Beat the yolks and whites of the eggs separately, and as soon as possible after beating them, mix all together, spread on buttered paper, and put into oven pretty hot until done a nice brown colour. Take out and spread with jam and roll up.
