Ingredients
- 2 cups pie crust
- 10-12 medium sour apples, chopped
- 1 pound raisins, chopped
- 2 cups sugar (more to taste)
- Butter, to taste
- Cloves, to taste
- Nutmeg, to taste

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).

In a two-quart tin basin, place a layer of pie crust at the bottom.

Add a two-inch thick layer of chopped sour apples.

Layer chopped raisins on top and sprinkle with sugar, butter pieces, and spices.

Repeat layers of crust and fruit until the basin is full.

Cover with a final layer of crust on top.

Bake for two hours.

Once done, turn the pie bottom side up on a plate and sprinkle with fine sugar before serving.
